Just came up out of the hidey hole - LOTS wind and hail, and torrents of rain, but no twisters! YAY. However, after 4 or more months of drought, 4 inches of rain in an hour is not exactly what we needed! But I'm not really complaining!

Good evening everyone!!! Just checking in on ya all and see if youns are staying out of trouble. Everyone stay safe this evening we are fixing to go out and start spotting in our area they say it is about an hour out. Hope everyone has a safe and blessed night

I am not going to make any guarantees to make it, but......... that is the weekend of my sons birthday so we will shall see what happens!!

Be careful out there Q. Make sure you spot it before it spots you! They say the storms will be here by late tomorrow! Same storm line. Karen that's the problem we have had this year. We have gotten lots of rain but it's always in a deluge. Just runs off.

I put one bunch of chicks out side today in a hutch, they have a light to keep them from bunching up in a corner so I hope they do okay.

p&B how is the rabbit crop doing? Got any new baby's yet?

Q - Haven't seen you online in forever. Hope all the storms miss your place. It will be neat to see you at POOPS if you can make it.

I talked with Chris, the guy running the Kellyville swap. He said their first sale went well, so I'm going to get a spot this Saturday and see how it goes. If anyone's interested, Chris said sellers start showing up around 6:30 or 7:00. Those who didn't come until 8:00 missed the early shoppers who were already there waiting for the gate to open at 7:30.

I'd better finish entering grades, just in case this storm knocks out our power. Eligibility is run on Friday, and the kids who are usually borderline are the first to check to see if I've got everything posted.

do you mean wheaten araucana ? , and are they double tufted or single tufted and clean faced

NO i mean BBR they are biliteraly tuffted and rumpless not weaton but BBR

well remember you cant breed a double tufted bird to a double tufted bird , the tufted gene is a lethal gene and the chicks wont survive to hatch
