I forget the size of the container we're using... i posted it somewheres (either on another thread or on facebook or something, i'll ask Dh when he gets home). i'm wanting to say it's 8x16... shoot i dunno. anywho we have a heatlamp in there for one corner, but they're running all over

You would enjoy it Wanda - and I'll bet your DH would, too. Several Okies who have brought their "non-chicken loving" kids or "non-crowd-loving" significant others find that said people are often very willing to come back to the next POOPS. You are in no way obliged to bring chickens to sell or to buy chickens if you don't want to. It's fun to go and meet everyone and to look at all the different poultry there. Oh...and there's food!! It's a pot luck so there is always a wide variety of good eats.

i am already looking forward to it! maybe too much lol. i'm all for get togethers of any kind.

Cuban, I enjoyed my three days in your scenic part of the state..
It was beautiful up in the mountains but very windy on Friday.
It sure is a lot greener there than here.

this isn't about chickens, but was wondering if anyone here feeds hummingbirds? if so how do you keep bees from being so interested in it (my MIL has problems right now, and she uses the mix you can buy)

What are you testing for.

I'm a licensed npip tester for the State of Oklahoma.

I won't be flock testing, just individual birds for folk who are npip and want to purchase from non-npip flocks.

I still have all my birds, you must've stayed in the mountainsbthe whole time!

Glad the tornados missed you!

Everything greened up after the rains. You missed the dogwood blooms by about a week.
