It looks like a roo to me, most of what i've hatched so far has been Orp. and Brahma crosses. Don't know why more of the light brahma's aren't hatching. Have some chicks that look like lt. and dk. brahma X.

Teach is the resident snake guru and Cookoo, he may be able to help, he may just want a few spiders in return.

No I don't raise rats! Don't like rats! I have mice! Mice are cute!

Bobby that pic of the new chick is cute! Look how it is holding its wing straight down like a big bird! Cute all over!

bobby, would sure like to see some pics of your hens, as thats where the chicks mostly get their type, I love the color on that roo...hows the little cockerel doin you got from here?

Joe - I can't go to Centerton this weekend. Our oldest needs to borrow my truck around noon on Saturday, so I think I will take some of my extra birds to Collinsville and then drive to Bartlesville so DD can use my truck.

City - Thanks so much for letting Noah and Ima be in your video. Ima spent about 10 minutes of alone time under her favorite lawn chair when we got home, but after that she rejoined the rest of the ducks. Maybe it was just stage fright. She took a brief swim in the kiddie pool, had a good-sized supper, and then settled into her nest corner. I was relieved to see that Noah directed what remained of his amorous attention towards the other females.
