I have a extremely rare purple blooming maple tree. Very exotic, very expensive ............................................................................................................................................................... or maybe it was just my clematis climbing my maple tree.

The one in the maple tree is dark blue purple and small flowered, the other one is lighter red/purple and larger flowered.

This is a pic I took a few days ago of the reddish purple one. I haven't uploaded any of the other ones to this site.

I have no idea what colors mine are but one has some very tiny blooms on it.

We just let them flow over the side we have lots of room

When did you plant it??? My mother in law has a green thumb like no other & her's are slow coming out this year & also took alot of damage from the snows we had this winter.

early march i think, just looks like a stick in some dirt still, everything else i planted this year is starting to bud out (honey suckle, grape vine, strawberries, snowball bush)
