I've never found a 'bator for less than $100, and never a cabinet 'bator for less than $250. That's what I get for living close to OKC... seems like there's never anything around here like that.

The 'bator is on a table in the living room against an inside wall. It's out of the way of drafts, etc. The only thing near it is the parrot cage.

Farm sales is where you will often pick things like this up. The brooders will use the same thermostat set-up too. Year before last there was a three tier brooder at the Shawnee show for 90 dollars and I am still kicking myself for not buying it.

Ebay is where I got my styrofoam 'bators. In the dead of winter is the best time to bid on them when hatching is far from everyones mind. I bid on many of them and entered a top bid of 30 dollars. If I won I won and if I didn't I just kept at it with others till I got one at my price.
