Thanks for the welcome , we have a small place between spiro and Ft. Smith.. I was really bumed out
about our CS ..maybe it will work out for Oct.. I do have to change my Vote to the 11th..as I was just looking at what they have in MO at the same time we are looking to have ours..maybe in a couple of years
ours could turn out like theirs..sounds really big..Now I want to attend both..

if Gas isn't 6.00 a gallon by then..I better start saving now just in case..

Yeah but even if your birds has the mild form don't they destroy your birds. I have read in several places that they want to make sure the virus does not mutate they kill all birds that test with either strain. Am I totally off on this?

Ok here we go.....
Muesky I do belive that is a yes the do destory any flock that tests pos. for either strain. It totally sucks and even if only one bird test pos. they will still destroy the entire flock as the rest might catch it from any droppings so the soil also has to be treated.

OK as for the date for the chickenstock, After days of research on all events in the Oklahoma and Arkansas areas I have decided that the 25th of October will be our safest date as there is hardly any Fall fests, state fairs, othe cs's, car shows, cook-off, etc.... it was a tough call but I think this date will be the best, that way we will all be able to make the fairs and still make the chickenstock. Let me know what everyone thinks I will make it offical on Friday to give everyone time to give some input on the matter before the finial decision is made.

Will anyone have any money at the end of the month?
That is a week before my stepdads birthday, on my parents anniversay, the day before my mom's bday and two days before my birthday, and obviously a week b4 Halloween....Oct. is gonna be busy!

Hooligan thats so funny it sounds just like from december 22 to may 20th for me! I tell ya'll what I will be out of money by the time the stock is over with from buying all those chickens that people will be selling!
