Ol'a from Hunt, Tx

I live in Hunt Tx. Went to Harper last weekend to the auction and bought 12 Cochins. Three roo's nine pullets. I wanted Red Stars but they were sold. Anyway, the new birds are enjoying their new home so far. Dolly brought us much needed rain. Sorry for the folks in the Valley. Glad to have a board like this to chat. frankoo

I used to go to Hunt Tx with my ex and stay at a big house. We would deer hunt and have a great time. Beautiful part of the world. Glad you got some rain.

How do you guys find these auctions? I have been to cattle and horse auctions all my life but have NEVER seen a poultry auction. Where are they hidden??

It was all of the above. Exotic deer, farm tools, etc. It was posted on the board at the Hunt store. Our only store and filling station. Thank god.
