There were some AMAZING Leghorns at this show. White, light browns and dark browns! Wow! I think it was the first time I'd seen a dark leghorn in person. Breathtaking to me! Feather quality is outstanding... hope to get there some day with my Andalusians.

Are your Andalusians up to the weight of the Standard?

I don't know. I still need to get a scale. I definitely have at least one that is. I pick him up and he seems quite heavy to me though I couldn't give you a number. Seems like more than 6 lbs but then I may be tired when I try it too!

You need a scales.

Weight is part and parcel of type. As a matter of fact, I'm convinced it is the essential ingredient to type.
Type must come first before anything else (excepting health and vigor which are givens). Everything else is mere window dressing.
