I Live in Old Bridge, NJ and I was told that it is illegal to own any chicken unless I have 5 acres of land or more. I was looking to raise them for some eggs and to teach my kids about them. Any ideas what I can do to help change this law?

alot of these threads on here, lots of very good info, main thing you need is the ordinance for your town or city, if you can get it see if you can post it on here, a lot of the members on here know how to read them & what they mean, then they can give you more info from there, but read up!!! and very good luck to you!!

Hi, I am moving to Old Bridge, NJ, and also want to own chickens. Have you approached the town about changing the laws? If so, what response have you gotten so far?
