Old but new to raising chickens

At 55 years I've seen a lot of things. I'm trying my 11670-3 incubator for the first time with 83 eggs and not happy at all with its performance. The temperature seems to fluctuate between 90 and 110 degrees with no rhythm or reason. I really think this batch is ruined. Does anyone know if this incubator can be overhauled?

Welcome to BYC. With highs of 110F , the eggs are most likely not viable. Have you candled them ? At 55 you have no claim on 'old'.

Yeah, sounds like you need a new incubator. Fluctuations that large are detrimental to the eggs. Incubators come out of calibration easily, heating elements get burned out. So sorry.
