Old cabinets as nesting boxes

Saw some cabinets at our Habitat for Humanity store that would be a good size for 2-3 nesting boxes. Take the back off of the cabinet, leave the doors on for access and put a top on it. Of course, I would clean them before putting chickens in. Any reason why I couldn't use a cabinet?
