Old Chickens to new flock

I just introduced 9 14 month old red stars to my 6 month old red stars I have tons of room in the coop. Normal pecking order stuff is going on but nothing out of the ordinary. I have not seen any eggs, yet the last owner said he got 7 -9 a day. I just moved them in 36 hrs ago. 14 month old chickens are very skiddish. Will not let me near them. any advice?

They need time to get used to their new environment. Moving is very stressful on chickens!

they are becoming a lil friendlier but still no eggs. I am worried the guy I bought them from lied to me and they are older than he said. He was not the greatest owner he had 9 chikens in an area 3 ft by 5 ft. 2 ft high. with a mound of chicken poop in the middle and he handled the chickens very rough. I felt bad for em. But I bought them for the egg production because I cant keep up with demand. and after 2 days still nothing. I am still new to this.
