Do you have a Rooster? Are they fertilized? If they aren't fertilized no problem. What is the temperature like? If they have been in the nests for 2/3 days I would say no problem as long as the temperature isn't to high 90 plus. This info may be pertinent.

Unwashed eggs can be left on the counter for a couple of weeks. I don't wash mine and keep them on my egg counter for a couple of weeks before I refrigerate them. I have never had a bad egg. There is a good article by Mother Earth news on storing eggs. In the article it said they left them out for 90 days and they were still good. If the eggs are fertile then you should refrigerate them right away. If they have been in the nests for a few days I would break them into a dish before I used them.

Here's the Mother Earth News link.

I just noticed in your signiture line that you do have a Roo so most likely the eggs are fertile. I would not eat them if they have been in the nest for more than a couple of days.

That's what I thought, I went camping was gone eight day's came back the 19 egg's. They just started laying three weeks ago so their still small. It won't be as hard to trash them.
