Old English Game Rooster’s Comb Turning Yellow?

My rooster recently had an impaction, which I am now treating the aftermath, but I noticed his comb and skin is a little yellow? I found this odd as just a day ago it was a healthy red. I’ve suspected this impaction could’ve been a side effect of coccidiosis (he showed other symptoms such as lethargy, diarrhea, and a purplish comb), and have been treating him and the rest of the flock with Corid. It is spring and I’m wondering if the weather change could be the cause? Does anyone know why this is happening?

Pictures of him may help. How old is he? Do you provide granite poultry granite grit for help in digesting grains and food? What are his droppings looking like? How is he acting, and is he eating and drinking? Yellow could be a sign of liver problems, but seeing his comb and skin might help.

He is about 2 years old. I typically do provide grit, oyster, but since he had an impaction turned sour crop recently I’ve been unsure if the strict diet he is currently on for his healing would grit be too difficult to digest? He is very perky, his typical self, crows all day, and he has a great appetite, eats and drinks plenty. His droppings are a bit odd, his crop has been emptying normally, but there is grass in his poop despite only being allowed to eat saffron seed with coconut oil and boiled eggs. I theorized perhaps this is the impaction digesting, but I do keep a close eye on his droppings as just yesterday they were watery and milky, even clear at one point, but then today they look relatively normal, the usual puffiness.
