My daughter has been itching for some bantams and when a nice couple heard they offered us 4 hens and one rooster. Well 9 chicks were hatched about 5 weeks ago and we still don't know what the gender is. Please help us identify, I'm going to post some of the adult pics for the breed. Boy it's hard to get pics of these very fast babies! Thanks
Alfred the roo.

Your roo looks like a d'anver and one of hens look like a d'anver and another hen looks like a old english.

As far as the chicks. pic number 2 looks like a roo pic 3 a hen

Thanks, boy am I bummed, I was hoping the previous owners knew what they had and they were all the same breed. They told me Old English but it didn't seem right. Do all d'anvers have what looks like puffy cheeks? I do really like the rooster and two of the chicks seem be very pretty light grey.
