old enough?

Strangely I was getting my chicks ready to move in to the garage and realized they’re only 4 1/2 weeks but they look so big to me compared to other years!! do you think they’ll be ok with a brooder plate (night temps in 40’s?) View attachment 2623613

4 1/2 weeks really don't need heat in the 40s. So yes they'd be fine moving out with the plate, but I'd work on weaning them off once they're out there and acclimated to it.
