Darn it, I think I have gone broody!!
I have enough eBay eggs on the way to fill up my 3 broody hens nests and completely fill my incubator.

Well 2 of our broodies are out in the 'play pen' with their babies today enjoying the warm weather. We put together the play pen area to allow them to roam and scratch and enjoy the grass and such but keep them safe from the local cats till they get just a bit older.

Asparagus is getting culled on Thursday, why did he have to put me in this position?! He will still come out on top because the guilt will eat me alive. He was my first chick too !:

I' m so sorry . we had to cukm our first chick for aggression issues too. Its very tough.

We had to do one of ours too - it's hard, took me a few weeks to where I didn't feel so sad, but now I have new ones to focus on and that helps.

hugs John!!!! I think I have a chick with mareks, I know I should cull it, but don't have the heart. She is slowly dying breaks my heart. Hope my DH will take care if it for me.
