Asparagus attacked me today , it felt so horrible after having him since a chick and everything i did for him :/

Our WL roo used to attack everyone. The way I handled him was I always carried my rake with me (its a kids size lawn rake, but any long stick would do, and whenever I felt like he was going to attack me I turned toward him and acted like I was going to pick him up. He would bolt away. I finally rehomed him to a friend with just roosters.

Hi, it's me again!

Ok, today is is 64 in western PA and sunny. I opened the pop door to let the birds out. First time in weeks. May, the younger pullet got off the nest. She is not sitting eggs. Ok, what do I do now? Her older 1/2 sis, March must be sitting eggs because she hasn't stirred off the nest, even with the inviting open door to a sunny run. What do I do now? I need May to start laying. Should I put her alone in the empty bachelor's quarters and hope she starts laying eggs for me again? Apparently all she has been doing so far is keeping her 1/2 sis company.
Advice really welcomed.

I'm sorry to hear that Asparagus has resorted to that!! Sometimes we have to make those hard decisions!! If he does it again, as hard as it is......

There are too many good roosters that need a home to put up with a nasty one!! Even if you raised him!!

Thanks, i will give him a few more chances, im hoping hes just going through his teen stages!

another cute chicken behind. What's a Rooster to do???? I have never been attacked by one of my Roosters. I guess I don't have one or have an ugly chicken butt.

Now the missus and neighbor Bill both have. They got cute chicken behinds...

The missus does carry a big stick with her now. Ever seen a Rooster and lady go at it. Dallas lost but he and her were at it for about 3 minutes. Funniest thing I have seen. They get along now fine, but she still carries that stick... Guess she had to show him who was the alpha person....

No i dont haha. I kind of wished i rehomed him when someone asked for him now. I really dont want hum anymore when hes acting like this. But next time i go to see the hens i will be expecting it so i will fight him to the death!!
