No its day 21 today my bad

If you can I would still try to see whats going on under her if she is not getting upset, some of my hens could care less if I look under them when brooding, some I leave alone, only you know if you can or not. If day 21 then you may see pipping in that one egg, how far are your eggs spaced out. You can also hear peeping coming from the eggs when getting ready to pip.

Hey all. Despite rainy yucky conditions here I did manage to get several cute pics of mama with her chicks. One of them even was eating out of the small food dish I put in the coop for them. Or rather, sitting in the dish and pecking around!

Or she lets me pick her up as many times as i want she ain't really botherd by it bought i can here something in the egg i wouldn't say it is cherping but some kind of noise but it was laid on the 29th

Okay so if laid on day 29 and that would mean today is day 20, has she been on the egg since she laid it? If you hear something then i would say in the next 24 36 hrs you should have a chick. now leave her alone until you hearing actual peeping then you will know it's hatched. How far are the eggs spaced out? when did she lay the last egg she is sitting on? or are these eggs from other hens?

x2! Many times I have heard a scratching sound from an egg a short time before it pips or peeps. This far along I am always careful to note the position of the egg and not rotate it while listening. I always have assumed the scratching sound is the chick positioning itself to pip. Good luck, and yes today is day 20. The day they sit is day 0.
