I've seen you on the Silkie thread .... I just hatched my first and one and only. Are there any clues to sexing them early on????

Hello all, Went out to check on the chickens and all was quiet except a "peep peep" coming from the nest box where my cochin pullet has been. Upon closer examination a little white face peeked out from all the fluff. Happy Thanksgiving! I fished around under her and found a black or blue chick too

Love to see pics of chicks! Love the sound of peeping eggs--BA broody has a peeping egg this morning too. About time, the first chick needs a playmate.
