I have another broody! She's been sitting for a little over a week now. I think they're due the 27th. Anyway here's a pic of mama to be Priscilla.

And here's mama Pokey, whose babies hatched about 6 weeks ago. (My 3yo dd named her when she was 2, btw. That's why the poor pretty thing has such a strange name. lol) She's the little splash bantam, not the Faverolles.

The Faverolles hen, Bonnie, is the only one she let near her babies from the beginning. The rest of my flock (I have 40 and never separated her) is terrified of her b/c she's a fierce little thing when they get near her babies. Bonnie even helped her hatch by sitting on them when Pokes took her daily break. She's like a 2nd mama. None of the eggs were Pokey's anyway, not that she noticed or cared. lol

Hermione finally decided to give up and get off her empty nest. She is back laying now, thank goodness!

Still waiting for the first egg from my one and only remaining Bouncing Baby Buffy, who is now 6 months old and really should be getting on with it!
