Old fashioned Broody Thread for Ducks

Well I confirmed that no, this is a one duck wonder nest... Dusty got on top of her next box today(we have fenced around it) and then did a touch of a forage then later couldn't figure out how to get back in so i had to lift her.. poor junior was upset trying to get to mama but it totally confirmed the other eggs in the nest box are a no go.. so we will have to assemble a team and remove them.. this should be fun.. she is one hot headed lady right now.. but junior is doing very well so i am pleased.. disappointed we didn't get more but it is what it is now i am just hoping this little quacker is a girl!

I did get some pics of my other two broodies and will be adding them to the thread as soon as I get them downloaded.

Well 1 week to go before my girl Ruthann will be hatching, can't believe my first ducklings are already 3 weeks old. I have enjoyed them so much. Husband keeps saying yes they are cute but what are you going to do with all the ducks? I say enjoy them for now.

She is siting on 2 empty eggs.... But I have in incubator 14 eggs and I would give goslings to her in two weeks. And for ducks I have in incubator some eggs too, they become some ducklings. They would be all three happy then

Great news for mama goose and duck, please post back and show pics when hatched. Would love to see the happy family. I have one gander[Embden] and he is proud father goose to ducklings right now and more to come.
