Old fashioned Broody Thread for Ducks

Thanks, we are X-Files fans too. We name all ours after shows and things we like, I mostly name them, because my DH has weird ideas about how to name them. All our ducks are named after Star Wars theme. I do not have chart but I guess I could search for one online. This is really the first time we tried this and I admit, we were not sure she would actually stick with it the full time, but we have been curious about trying to hatch. If they do hatch, it will be a mallard drake/ khaki-rouen mix cross. I hope it works out, because I would love to see what they would look like, but we just got 3 ducklings, so my DH is like whoa that will be alot of ducks haha.
Well DH join the crowd of Husbands who just shake their heads when wives can't seem to get enough ducklings etc in their lives. Sounds like a nice mix of eggs. I hope you share lots of pics. Here is the chart.

When you see them moving around it's so exciting then when they pip into the air sac oh my gosh I never get tired of it. lol

I have a bantam Cochin sitting on OEGB and Chocolate Orp eggs now I have 20 days to go. lol Sadly no ducklings for us this year but we had some last year.

One of the eggs we found out of nest and is cold. Is it dead? I am afraid to get rid of it of or crack it. What do you think? It looks like its got liquid inside and smells really bad.

If it smells rotten, don't crack it! Unless you seal it inside a heavy duty bag first... I would just bag it really, really well and toss it... stinky eggs are ones that have gotten bacteria in them and once pressure builds up, they can explode and are nasty to clean up...

Just came in from candling. One looks like it is much further along than the other 7. Add to the fact, there was an egg out in the fence area, not the nest. Momma is not sitting consistently. What do I do?

Hoping these upload. We are at about day 14. Since I last posted, she has laid 2 more eggs. Do these look viable? I tried to look at the chart but am totally lost. I have more pictures if needed.
