Sounds like the shells are thin. Always offer oyster shell in a separate tub or bowl on the side. Keep it near the food or water. Oyster shell is a perfect source of calcium to help form hard shells. Thin shelled eggs are harder to pass as well, could lead to egg binding.

Some have a tougher shell add extra as long as none thin do not worry.
