Hi, my 6 year old golden comet has had a dirty butt and she was getting beat up by her flock mates. I took her inside and washed her butt, then put her in a bin inside overnight.
She would eat and drink, however, she seems sleepy and would nap.
She would also squirt out liquidy clear poop. I’d hear a squirt and go look. Mostly it is clear.
I was expecting her to pass overnight. However, she’s still here. Today had been similar to yesterday. Napping, eating, drinking and squirting. She’s gotten her backside dirty again.
I’ve put her in a bigger cage outside and she seems more alert, but seems to nap there as well.
Here she is hanging out.

Here’s her dirty bum.

Here’s a picture of her poo. There is a reddish spot on the wood chips, but this bag of wood chips has that. I don’t think it’s blood.

Her vent didn’t appear red at all. She’s not laid an egg since early fall I believe.

Should I be doing something else? Should I be giving her a bath every day? Should I be trimming her butt feathers?

I have a bird in the same condition, very thin, protruding keel bone. We gave her safeguard paste (pea sized amount) for three days last week. She (Chicken Middle) and another bird (Loaf) seemed to improve a bit so we put them back out with the flock. Chicken Middle seems to have lost more weight and Loaf is still loafing around so we brought them both back in. The vet said to collect fecals and send them in. I will say Loaf passed a roundworm last week and seems to have gained weight since then so I'm definitely leaning towards parasites for this. Chicken Middle has very watery poos and a messy bum, and smells of ammonia from her soiled feathers. I am hesitant to clean her off again because she is so thin I think the stress of a bath might kill her. I did give them both some herbal wormers today just as a hail mary until we get the fecal results. I do think the herbal wormer is what caused Loaf to expel the roundworm, so we'll see.

what kind of herbal wormer did you use? I've never wormed any of my chickens, so am clueless as to that.
