Hi all, have just borrowed an old incubator, Brower Model # 11670-3 but alas, no instructions!! Does anyone have one of these and could give me some pointers on it? I don't know much about them and can't even figure out where the little pieces fit, or how to attach the thermometer so any hints would be most welcome. Thanks, Cindy in Nova Scotia

Oh dear, this is rather "technical". I'm not sure what I have, it's just a round metal thing with the heating unit attached to the top. The dial for controlling the temperature is not attached, and there are four little black plugs that screw in somewhere, both top and bottom have small round holes in, but I can't figure out where those plugs go, and are the holes for ventilation, and not sure how to put the temp dial on. Maybe I'll post pics, but can't do that till hubby gets home with the camera. Also, flat dish sits under the mesh with water for humidity perhaps? I am most definitely NOT a techie and feeling rather dumb. But I love chickens!!

dont worry post some pictures and someone may be able to help you the flat dish you are probably right about it is probably for humidity and water

I emailed Brower, and they answered me! They are going to send me a manual, isn't that great? I figured out how to increase/decrease temp, and will have to get a thingy to measure humidity. Thermometer is just laying on the floor, but seems to be reading ok. Going to put eggs in tomorrow, and then see what happens. Cheers.

good luck and
