Old lurker, new poster

I've been a member of BYC for over a year, but am guilty of lurking without comments. I have enjoyed every piece of information provided here and truly appreciate the site.

We have a flock of 16, all hens. Six Golden Comets, six Easter Eggers, four Speckled Sussex. All are named, as we have grandkids who think all creatures need names. They were hatched in June, 2017 and are just starting to lay. So far, just getting eggs from the Comets.
Our run and coop were on the property when we bought it and required some interior renovations to get ready for chickens.
I have a chicken blog, https://hootiesandcheeps.wordpress.com, where I post pictures and stories about the girls.
