Ok so I have my Incubator going. I had a bad set of weather roll through and the power went out for a second. How did they Incubate eggs back in the day without power? Also I'm sure they didn't have access to a broody all the time. What I would like to see is pictures, diagrams or summary's of how to do this. Also what do you guys do for power outages for your bators and brooders. As I'm striving to be more self reliant this would help us all.

That's a good question, I'd be curious to hear as well. Maybe put it close around an oil lamp and keep them covered? Or tucked in a basket close to a fireplace or wood burning stove?
