hello
My Plymouth barred rock hen, 3yrs old, Died within 24hours of illness. I cant find anything to match her symptoms
I found her hiding out behind a barrel on Sunday morning. But alert. An hour later she was still there. I picked her up and she was alert but quiet. seemed a little dehydrated. I separated her from the flock and put water and food next to her. She then had a small amount of greenish diarrhea stuck to feathers only. She became listless later. by night fall standing. In the morning moving some and had eaten and drank. by 12noon she had died.
Any idea what happened? old bird or ?/
Ive been watching my flock closely and no one has any symptoms.
thanks
