Peep is 11 years old has laid 11 eggs so far this spring!

Thanks for the reply. That's what I like to hear.
Maybe if this is done again, that should be another question to ask

this is Sammy our 11 year old rooster unfortunately we think he's coming to the end as we took him to a vet and he has some kind of resperiater diesea but he's spoilt rotten kids ador him and he has a brother but I don't think I can share him because he is a bronze turkey

I'm afraid Aussie died right before Christmas and her best friend Punkin died 2 days later. It was a hard winter here and I lost a lot of my favorite old chickens including Mack, who was Aussie's 5 year old son.

So sorry! what a beautiful roo he was. my thought always goes with the time we shared together, she lived a grand old life, perhaps much longer then most....the time and care and the heated house she lived in helped during the long winter months,,,wouldn't have had it any other way.. She was very much apart of our lives....she will never be replaced but in our hearts she will always be missed.! to everyone that has this special hen or rooster,words can not replace what they mean to all of us...god bless to all!

He's still extremely weak but living he get some medicine to stop any pain and we feed him a special diet so he can digest it easy
