We're so bummed, as we weren't wanting a roo.
My chicks were started to be integrated at 8 weeks with my older hens. I have some mean hens but they accepted them in the flock.So I guess we keep him till he's off heat and then get a pullet... have you integrated a chick at the 8 week ish mark without much hassle? We're new to this.
