Hey y'all!
I have an olive egger and silkie who I can't tell for the life of me if I have pullets, roos, or one of each. Sorry for the bad OE pic, I can try and take another once the sun gets in a good spot. Both are a little over four months old.

I’m no expert and my opinion has near zero credibility, but the comb redness on your EE seems too bright for a 4 mo old pullet. I think male for the EE, female for your Silkie. Let us know in a few months. :)

Am I seeing a spur on the olive egger, or is that just me? silkie looks like a female though.

Will need better pictures of the OE not through the hardware cloth to be sure, but I think I may be seeing pointy saddle feathers on him

No idea about the silkie though

Thank y'all for your educated guesses!

I looked for spur buds, but didn't see any on the OE. Here are some more pics (he/she always wanted to face me, so I cousln't get better booty feather pics or back of legs)

Can you take some without the hardware cloth obstructing the camera? It makes it hard to see what's going on

The OE is a rooster b/c I see pointed saddle and hackle feathers, as well as what seems to be sickle feathers and the comb is nice and bright for that age.

Not sure about the silkie, seems like a female though.
