Olive Egger laying brown eggs?

Hi everyone im hoping these are all hens

19 weeks old.

The wyandottes are bottom of pecking order.

Im new to chickens these were all sold as pullets at farm n fleet.

Was the hen already laying when you bought it? If not, the seller could not guarantee what color egg the hen would lay. Even an Easter Egger may lay a brown egg.

Yes she was already laying. I assumed she wasn’t being intentionally deceptive and just had no way of knowing which eggs she was laying.

That's a good way of looking at it.

All the more reason to disclose to the buyer that the hen might lay a brown egg, despite being an "olive egger".

Not everyone knows that, it's not conmon knowledge.
