Your OE is delightful! What a cutie. I too have one...this is Deion. She is 13.5 weeks and is a real pistol. I got mine from a local feed store as well cross of cuckoo maran and Americana hen. She looked just like your chick at that age. I have been trying to figure if she is a she or he, but most opinions are shes a she.

Have fun...she is the wild chick of my flock!

follow up question for you....do your OE feathers look a bit green in the sunlight? Mine has a bit of iridescence in certain lights?

Deion is beautiful, looks like my Gwynnie. We were hoping was a Gwendolyn but turns out he’s a handsome rooster.

i haven’t noticed any of the in their feathers yet but they are at the strange looking stage when their feathers are coming in phase. i’ll have to look closer when i get home .

WOW!! What a surprise. I hope having a rooster is a good thing. He is a handsome one. Looks like there is some red/rust tones in his pattern. Let’s keep in touch to share our little ones grow up! Thanks
