I have an Ameracauna, or I presume, Easter Egg rooster. I have a variety of hens but have only been collecting the eggs from my Black Copper Marans. What are my chances of getting Olive Eggers? My rooster has to carry the blue egg gene right? Are there any physical characteristics to look for or do I just wait and see? I recently hatched 2, and have more in the incubator now so I know I have a wait ahead of me until we see an egg and the suspense is killing me.

1st. There feet. They have fluffy feet like a silkie.
2nd. The colors. Dark with a spot on its chest

Sorry about the late reply!

Sorry, but feathered feet only mean they had a feather footed parent. Nothing to do with egg color.

It's going to come down to your rooster's genetics. Do you have a pic of him? It's frustrating you can't see what egg color genetics a rooster carries, but a nice pea comb is pretty tightly linked to the blue egg gene. He may be pure for blue, which would give you nice olive eggs, or he may be split for blue and brown and his offspring could lay various shades of green or even some brown, with the Marans momma.
