I have the same cross but opposite. I had a CCL roo over BCM hen. All the chicks were barred and had crests. Unfortunately I'm down to only one left but she is a hen and she laid her first eggs this week! They're a lovely olive color! I wish I had a picture of her but I don't. She's a medium sized dark barred bird with a large crest and one of those floppy combs (like her mom). Good looking chook.
