Olive Eggers

Not necessarily. There appears to be a range of color expression. It all depends upon how much 'paint' the reproductive tract applies and can vary within a given bird. The 'blue' of a hens eggs early in the laying cycle is generally far more intense than later in the laying cycle.
 
I got all my olive eggers.My Silver Back Americana rooster mated with all my hens .One hen hatched the chicks. 7 hens 5 roosters hatched by an andulsion.My Welsummer mix produced a very dark olive color.My ancona chicks were had the spots ,they eventually turned black. Mom layed a white egg.One lays a bluish green egg the other pale green.My 2 Brahma mix chicks lay olive colored eggs..One thing they all have in common..The bushy face..
