Olive Eggers!!!

Here's my girl...Olive...she's 28 weeks and has been laying for about 4 weeks. Usually 5x a week. She's laid some huge double yolkers too. She's my only colored egg layer of my flock of four.

I have 2 that lay olive-y eggs the above is Nell, Her and her sister lay the dark gray eggs in the basket.

Thank you. Her mother is one of my splash Olive Eggers laying 70-79 grams on a regular basis, also with some darker sprinkles.

Wow, your girls lay large eggs! The only ones that I have that even come close to that are my Marans.

Wow, your girls lay large eggs! The only ones that I have that even come close to that are my Marans.

That is the secret of mine also: Marans rooster over Swedish Isbar hen = my Olive Eggers (all 4 splash), laying wonderful big olive eggs.

I wish I could get a picture of her eggs but she hasn’t laid in a week or so and she’s not molting she’s just really low in the pecking order pour bird

I have 4 Sapphire Olive Eggers, and they each lay a different color egg, 1 lays blue, 1 a blue green, 1 an olive green, and 1 lays brown. They’re 6 months old, and Darla ( the brown layer) keeps laying double yolk eggs, about twice a week!
