Congratulations guys!!!!

Someone ask, why do they always hatch at night? I was wondering, I always put my eggs in the bator at night. Maybe next time I'll try putting them in in the morning and see what happens. Did you all put them in at night?

I HAVE A BABY! A Serama was born OVERNIGHT! OF COURSE...so NOPE setting earlier in the day doesn't matter! lol ALthough I expect my cochin to hatch today during the day sometime.

Here is a picture: It's my tiny Serama baby!

Way to go! You're doing great if you got serama to hatch on your first incubating experience. I understand they can be hard to hatch.

Thanks for all the uplifting comments! I got ANOTHER pip! This makes 5 of 8 so far...four of which hatched and the fifth one may hatch in the morning

I'm so excited! I have the Serama and the first cochin to hatch in the brooder box with the others but I made a little home for them so they don't get pecked by the older ones. They are pretty cozy now. The Serama likes to peck at the giant cochin which really looks funny because I thought it woudl be the other way around...she is only 1/4 the giants size! lol
