OMG..I accidentally broke egg preparing for lockdown...HELP!

I just discovered an egg under my broody with a little pin hole crack in the small end

I don't know if she did it or what but the egg was barely under her and when I looked, it was cracked. This is my first experience with a broody so could it be a bad egg and she was getting rid of it? I don't know, but I just did the wax thing and put it in the incubator with the other eggs. We'll see I guess. This is my second hatch and first broody and I seem to be experiencing just about everything with it, lol. I'll actually be happy when next Wednesday comes and I'll almost be done. It's stressful!

Thank goodness for the BYC. It helped me thru the Christmas hatch. I was glad that I joined in on a thread or two as it relieved some stress by reading of others who were dealing with the same stuff & thoughts, who shared helpful comments & ideas, & who were able to answer my occasional inquiries. It sure took some pressure off of my hubby, so he didn't have to hear about this or that for the hundreth time; the poor dear. I'm still gloating over my Christmas chickies & enjoying the time off between incubations that start again next week. Oh Boy! If all goes well, I'm set for another group to be laying early enough in the year. Happy hatching "ZooMumzzy."
