the faucet is verry important. I designed my entire kitchen to suit my needs and went with this one, it was one of the best investments I ever made

It's like the old lamps they had that you touched the base to turn it on. I can't count the number of times I didn't want to touch the faucet handle with my ubber grubby hands

That is a very cool idea.

I had one of those lamps over my bed many years ago. Well, one day, my husband loses his snake.

About a month later, the light comes on in the middle of the night. Thought that's strange, then turned it off, went back to sleep. About 20 minutes later, the lamp came back on, I look up, and what do I see, but a snake dangling about 6 inches above my face on the lamp.

My husband is VERY lucky I'm not scared of snakes

As for it getting turned on when you're not around, it gets turned on the same was as a normal faucet does, then "deactivated" like a touch lamp. Unless you didn't do a "hard" turn-off before you left, there's no fear of it getting turned on by a cat when you're away from home.

This is the other thing I want. We think we could do it pretty inexpensively.

Not only the potfiller, but check out that backsplash!

Ahappychick, I love Kohler. My son in law works for a distributor and I just got a deep double sink and a fancy schmancy faucet at his cost.

oh thats awesome!

btw pot fillers stink unless you boil every day, cause the water gets stagnant in the line and gets yucky, so you either dump the first cup or so or use it regularly. I am a wealth of facts on kitchens lol

I would use it daily, or at least 6 days a week. We eat alot of potatoes and I make mashed from scratch. Spaghetti and macaroni and cheese are weekly staples. Artichockes get alot of attention here too.
