It has rained, sometimes poured, here for the last two days and I didn't make the trek out to the corner where I usually feed the bobcat. He took matters into his own hands (paws?) and showed up at the backdoor last night yowling to be fed. He got a bowl of meow mix and some leftover catfish for being brave enough to slip past Killer Kitty and come into the yard. He didn't have any possums with him that I saw.

P.S. That 'odd' smell you caught wind of was probably my SO attempting to cook for himself.
