I have a Pekin duck who just started laying a few weeks ago-and she has, on several occasions now, laid THREE double yolked eggs, in a day. More frequently she lays two normal sized eggs though. I am assuming she is just working the kinks out and will eventually be a normal 1 a day kind of gal. I have a turken that has been laying two eggs a day (she is also a beginner) Anyway, my point was, I suppose it is POSSIBLE his chicken does that---isn't it?

And no, I am not interested in your oceanfront property in Arizona...

Considering that the world record for egg laying by a chicken is 364 eggs in one year, that IS a mighty impressive feat. Also considering that it takes a hen about 25 hours to create an egg...well...Maybe he has a bunch of camoflaged chickens running around in his coop that he doesn't see???
