OMG - Mutt mistake... LOL (added picture)

Smitty's Farm :

I wish one of mine would go broody. I think that would be such a neat experience to watch mama raise her baby.

I have another Mille Fleur D'Uccle sitting on Guinea eggs

She has a way to go - only on day 8 or 9

They're young girls - only a year old, this is the first time broody for both of them.

If mine maintain the really sweet personalities they have now - I can imagine they will be good mama's. I'm not sure if yours give you that really soft sweet look or not - the one where they cock their heads kind of side ways and look at you with big doe eyes.

No, I got mine when they were around 20weeks and hadn't been handled much, they still don't like to be touched!

Cool idea. I can do one of my buttercup/silkie roo as he grew up. If my mutt hen Sasha (EE+?) goes broody and hatches eggs they'd be his offspring. Now that would be interesting!

awww, baby is sooo cute! One of my BO hens is hatching out babies right now! I caught a glimpse of one earlier but she was still waiting for the others to hatch! Congratulations!!!!

My Mille gives me "the look"...oh how I adore that breed...she is the sweetest ever. She has never gone broody, though, and is 2 years old now. I want more, but I don't think it is a good idea with the cold winters we have here. We had to bring her inside last winter and she made an excellent house chicken!

That little mutt chick is adorable!!
