I went out to the chickens and ducks today lunch time and my lil baby fuzzy who's 7 weeks old WAS FLOATING ON TOP OF THE DUCK POND!
I ran in rushed her back to the house, she was freezing cold, no life in her what so ever. Her eyes were open and I thought I'd lost her. Just: she was dead...
I got her inside I was about to give up, she was lifeless, cold as ice, her pupils had dilated her heart wasn't beating.
I was massaging her chest and just stopped trying because she was gone
went to call my dad to tell him the bad news....
then I herd a peep, and she was coughing up water, so i get the brooder lamp out right away and massaged her heart and got the rest of the water out of her chest and made her breath.
slowly she came round I was the happiest person on the planet at that moment!
she soon dried off and was running round the coop as usual with the other in less than 3 hours after she had gone.
luckily she seems normal so no damage has been caused, and the worst thing of all I left the coop door open so the rest of the chickens had gotten out!
THANK YOU GOD
