I have two 7 month old silkie girls and only one of them is laying. She's been laying for about a month now, but still only lays about every other day or two. We were cleaning the coop this weekend and pulled their nesting boxes out. She was trying to lay in the box with NO hay. It was so cute!! Her eggs are fertile so I'm wondering how long it'll be before she goes broody??

Congrats..arent they the cutest lil eggs? We have 8 silkies. We just recently got them in there own pen. Pics are on my blog if ya wanna check em out.
