OMG OMG OMG scarey moment with the neighbors......

DH was wondering the same thing about the METH - we are just going to stay low tonight - not go outside unless we have to. I am not sure how many we taken away - but they left the two adult pitts in a kennel with no food or water ( they have had no water for about 2 days now ) I want to try and get them some put the dish is upside down and I dont really trust the female to much - I really feel bad for the poor dogs. If I can get a stick or something to hook the lid of the dish I could drag to near me and fill it up with a watering can - but now it is dark and I will not be able to see anything.

DH came home right in the middle of all this madness and saw cop cars everywhere - so he was kinda freaked out when he got home LOL first thing he said was " Did you call the cops on them? " - " Me no I had nothing to do with this ( this time lol ) "

I would call animal control and tell them that there are dogs without food or water. They will take them--- sounds like your neighbors might be gone for a while-- and if they do get back, a lot of money will be being spent on attorneys!

Call the animal control, though, it is only fair to the poor animals.

Wow, thats scarey. I would DEFINATELY call animal controll. Im surprised the police didnt do it. Jeesh! To leave those poor doge unattended, no food or water....thats just wrong! If you can, at least get them some water...till animal controll comes.

I use to have neighbors like that - one week cops raiding the place - a few weeks later - bounty hunters. Their back door got kicked in so many times they just quit repairing it. Hung a purple sheet over the door. We use to sit in our back yard and laugh about that sheet blowing in the wind. They partied all night, slept all day. During the day while they were sleeping they staked their Rots out around the property. I love dogs but they had those trained to be really mean.
Everytime the cops arrived and took someone to jail whoever was left at the house would stand on the back porch with a shotgun screaming at our house that they were gonna kill us for calling the cops. Funny thing is - I never called. Oh well they are gone now and we are in the process of buying the property. After a year of dealing with attorneys and probate judges - pray that next week we will never have to worry about that again.
I know how scary all that can be. I really feel sorry for you. But hopefully you won't have to deal with that again. I hope you get good neighbors next time.

man I hope so - I could really use good neighbors since their backyard is so close to the chickens.
I will see what I can do for the dogs in the morning when I can see better - DH does not want me to mess with the dogs - he is wooried that with all the mess that went on today the dogs might be on edge and bite me - so I will try to throw over ice at least and a few handfuls of food or something and call animal control - I am not sure if I really trust the dogs to much so I will do it fast and get away from them
DH told me that everytime he talked to the wife over there she always acted " strung out " shifting back and forth in place talking really fast and mumbleing alot - I never noticed since I never talked to her much I pretty much stayed away from all of them. they bought eggs from me once and that was about all the dealings I had with them.

oh well maybe tomorrow will be a better day LOL

now I know why the chickens were on the other side of the fence...they're rockin the ganj...LOL.
with that kinda raid I was thinkin maybe they were cookin meth over there too

please do something for those poor pitts, even if you have to call animal control, get them some food and water.

That's a good point Julie...even if they are scarey dogs...at least they would be taken away (a good thing!) and cared for. You prolly should call the animal control folks

It is 7:30 am and I dont see either of the dogs - last night before bed we heard someone over there in the dark whistleing (sp?) and heard the dogs barking - than it got quiet - we could not see anything - my porch light does not give off that much light to see in the neighbors yard - and this morning when I was out I was making all kinds of noise to see if the dogs would come out of the doghouse - nothing - DH does not want me to go near there , but as soon as he leaves for work I will get closer and take a look and see if I can see them in there
