The other bit of info that I found was that the half life of Tylan is about 1.5 hours. You are almost there. That means your chickens should be at the worst they'll get. Just keep calm and wait through this with them.

OK 10:00 that means it been 4 hours we gave them the shot at 6:00 this evening.. Still alive, still breathing heavy though...

Hi... I think they will be ok... I am a nurse and it is really hard to OD on antibiotics... unless there is an allergy to the medicine or the dosage was so extreme that the kidneys or liver were severely damaged... but that would take a lot more than what you gave... make sure they have plenty of water to flush the kidneys... ... just keep a close eye on them... it could be the illness and not what you did... hang in there!!!
