Hmmmm, I guess Im just not seeing it. I dont have access to "good" silkies in my area, so I guess I have not been drawn in. The ones I have seen around here locally look like ... well... YUK! Definately not something I would want in my coops. Maybe I am lucky..LOL No Silkie infatuation for me.

I also understand about making that kind of roundtrip for chickens! I just drove 360 miles for three, 3 wk. old Orpingtons from MissPrissy!
