I have 6 fuzzy butts. 1 buff (the oldest by a week), 1 EE, 3 RIR and 1 Jersey Giant. While I'm sitting here, I start hearing a lot of noise coming from my temp. brooder box. I go to look and the JG is dust bathing in the spilled crumbles. But what is so funny is that every time it throws the food up and some lands on it's back, the others jump all over it and peck off the food. Of course, JG doesn't appreciate the dog piling and "yells" at the others, then goes back to dusting again only to be dog piled again.
One of mine was dust bathing in the pine shavings and it sounds like the same situation! She kicked the shavings up onto her back and all the others rush over and peck the shavings off! I even made a video for youtube but it's too long to upload. I need to figure out how to post it. I know what you're talking about. Hilarious!!
